The proper way of using DIY hair relaxer?

is there any webby that is able to teach me the right way of applying DIY hair relaxer on hair?eg. the steps and ways to minimise damaging of the hair. Would prefer if there video attched thanksThe proper way of using DIY hair relaxer?
the first reply was correct, however if i were u i'd stay away from boxed relaxers (from wal-mart kmart etc) the lye alone will eventually do irreversible damage to your hair and scalp. i should know, i am now going 'natural' because of years of diy relaxing. if at all possible have a license cosmetologist apply because you will need additional conditioning done to your hair (those boxed relaxers don't include) if money is an issue you may try a reputable cosmetology school (which nowadays, they cost almost the same) whatever you do good luckThe proper way of using DIY hair relaxer?
sit down on your couch with your legs on the coffee table.... and use the DIY hair relaxer....
First you must make sure that your hair is in good condition and that you have not been scratching your scalp. You need petroleum jelly around the hairline and back to protect your skin from the chemical. Section your hair into 4 parts. Start with the back. Leave the edges for last. Comb through your hair and not on your scalp. Leave on for the time recommended. Be sure to shampoo well. Several times. And use an amazing Neutralizer. This is the key to perming your hair. Rinse well. Apply a leave on conditioner. Conditioner. Conditioner. Conditioner. Moisturizers...

Retouch only the new growth and not all of your hair in 6 weeks to prevent breakage. A hot oil treatment every week if great too...

Good luck...
